This is a library of perfboard and single-sided PCB effect layouts for guitar and bass. I'm not an electrical engineer by any stretch of the imagination, just a DIY'er who likes drawing layouts. It is meant for the hobbyist (so commercial use of any of these layout is not allowed without permission) and as a way to give back to the online DIY community.

Nocentelli JFET Boost

Here's a recent design by Nocentelli. A single JFET stage into a Baxandall EQ stage with a BJT gain recovery stage. Originally designed with an opamp gain recovery stage and no gain control, Nocentelli redesigned it for a lower parts count and easier build. I added a trimmer to the JFET stage so it's easier to bias correctly. More info here on FSB.

    Hey, I built this. It's super clean booster. With this layout you can have a eq with control volumen but the gain pot only up more the volumen don't add distorsion.I don't know if it's correct, I'm beginer. Thanks for your job. You can tag as verified.
